Roads to Economic Recovery are paved with good intentions.

But I would not suggest driving on them.

Robert Reich, Obama's Economic Advisor suggests using development of infrastructure to stimulate the economy. Take a page from FDR and do good for the community while employing people at the same time.

infrastructure
.
1: the underlying foundation or basic framework (as of a system or organization) 2: the permanent installations required for military purposes 3: the system of public works of a country, state, or region ; also : the resources (as personnel, buildings, or equipment) required for an activity
(source: Merriam-Webster)

The stipulations for these projects include:
  1. High social return
  2. Can be done with the greatest speed possible
  3. Jobs will not go to high skilled people who are professionals
  4. Jobs will not go to white construction workers
Link to Meeting Video where these are stated.

Did I just hear cheap, fast, and made by unskilled non-professionals.

If so, my question is:

Where are these roads, bridges, buildings, equipment, etc. going to be?

I want to be sure to avoid using them.
